Official Platform Update Notice
KATSANA is committed to continuously enhancing the reliability, security, and performance of our platform.
As part of our ongoing system and planned system improvements, we would like to formally inform our users of an upcoming change to the notification services related to vehicle battery alerts.
Notification Service Update
Effective 1 January 2026, SMS notifications for the following vehicle alerts will be retired:
- Vehicle Battery Low Notification
- Vehicle Battery Cut-Off Notification
After this date, these alerts will no longer be delivered via SMS messaging.
Replacement Notification Channels
To ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical alerts, KATSANA will transition all battery-related notifications to the following official channels:
- Email Notifications via the KATSANA System
- Push Notifications through the KATSANA Mobile Apps (iOS & Android)
These channels provide improved delivery reliability, real-time updates, and seamless integration within the KATSANA ecosystem.
Rationale for This Change

This enhancement is part of KATSANA’s commitment to:
- Providing a centralized and more efficient notification experience with tight integration with existing KATSANA mobile apps.
- Upcoming KATSANA V3 mobile apps in 2026 are expected to provide robust vehicle voltage information data.
- Similarly, the upcoming V3 mobile apps will introduce configurable alert sound based on your defined priorities.
- Improving notification reliability and consistency by reducing dependency on third-party SMS service providers
Required User Actions
To continue receiving vehicle battery alerts without disruption, users are advised to:
- Ensure your registered email address is valid and up to date
- Enable push notifications in the KATSANA mobile application
- Update the KATSANA mobile application to the latest available version
No further system configuration is required once these steps are completed.
Effective Date
